This is a parody of Balkan immigrant cultures and the continued fights between them. It's obviously not true. But it hits uncomfortably close to the truth in the depiction, the conflict between the Slavic and Albanian peoples and within those particular linguistic groups. 

Most manage to cross the boundaries because of liberal ideals and a common language. It comes down to personality, beliefs, and personal experience. Not everyone is this way.

Stravo is a close approximation of  "Zdravo". "Health" or "Salutations".  It means hello. A better more socially acceptable way to get around in the Balkans is to say "POHZ-drahv". It means the same thing, but it doesn't have the purely Serbian connotations of Zdravo or the purely Croatian connotations of Bog or Bok. If you have to learn one greeting to get around the region, learn Pozdrav, regardless of where or who you learn BCS from.

Kevapi or Ćevapi (you can try saying it TJE vah pee) is probably the regional dish. Made up of sausage like links made up of beef or pork, or a mix of the two, with a white sauce, and lepinje (LEP een yay), a big round bread.

AJ var is actually pronounced AYE-vahr. It's a red pepper sauce that people dip or spread on the ćevapi sandwich. Despite all protests to the contrary, ajvar is not a spicy food for those used to Mexican or Indian cuisine. It's a very mild sauce for a part of the world that doesn't like spice.
