The Handshake Not Heard 'Round the World

Yesterday in Al Jazeera Balkans, this iconic photograph was taken:

It is a photo of Branislav Princip, the great grandnephew of Gavril Princip, the man who shot Archduke Franz Ferdinand in Sarajevo in 1914, shaking hands with a woman. The woman is Anita Hohenberg, the great granddaughter of the said Archduke Franz Ferdinand, Hohenberg being the last name of the Austrian Hapsburg imperial family. This event was organized by the Austrian artist Igor Petković. (PET as in pet a dog, ko as in co-worker, and veetch as in sqeech with a v).

Do you see any similarities between the descendants and their famous ancestors?
This is the Archduke Franz and his wife Sophie.
This is Gavril on the steps of the courthouse.

These are his parents Marija and Petar:
Anyways, a fun way to enliven the study of Balkan history!
